Warren Beatty has bedded around 12,775 women—which means bedroom action with one girl for every day of his 35-year bachelorhood, according to a new tell-all book. The ‘Bonnie And Clyde’ star has been linked to stars from Joan Collins, 76, to 51-year-old Madonna.

In the book, titled ‘Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America’, author Peter Biskind has claimed that Beatty is still reluctant to kiss-and-tell about his sexual escapades. “12,775 women, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on,” the New York Post quoted Biskind as saying.

However, Beatty did talk about a few of his famous conquests – and they spilt the beans on him. On meeting him Jane Fonda, 72, said she “thought he was gay”, but despite this, the pair soon got together. “Oh my God. We kissed until we had practically eaten each other’s heads off,” Warren told Biskind.

He later dropped Fonda for Collins, and the two became an inseparable, insatiable couple. Another lover, supermodel Janice Dickinson, 54, said she woke in the night to find Warren admiring himself in the mirror. The book revealed that in 1965 Beatty first spotted gorgeous English actress, Julie Christie, and she was an Oscar contender for her lead role in “Darling.”

And actress Leslie Caron, another of Beatty’s longtime loves, told Biskind: “Warren has an interesting psychology. He always falls in love with girls who have won or been nominated for an Academy Award.” Beatty and Christie had a long, passionate, often turbulent relationship — mostly due to Beatty’s chronic inability to be faithful.

Then Beatty had cast Madonna in the role of Breathless Mahoney in 1990′s ‘Dick Tracy,’ which he was both directing and starring in, and he locked onto the pop star as his latest conquest. But, Madonna turned out to be more than he bargained for. “Beatty, a man who was accustomed to being worshipped by women, was on dangerous ground with Madonna,” wrote Biskind.

Warren, 72, married 51-year-old actress Annette Bening 18 years ago and lost his virginity at the age of 20.
